At Tower Printing and Design, we’re fully aware of the impact the print industry has on the environment and so we take great care to conduct our business ethically. We are committed to doing business in an environmentally responsible manner and encourage our clients to do the same.

We have always worked hard to protect the environment and recycle whenever possible and will continue to do so.

We believe that by disposing of our waste products above the requirements of existing legislation and by using reputable companies to carry out this task, we are fulfilling our duty of care.

We are fully accredited with the Forestry Stewardship Council, an international, non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting responsible management of the world’s forests, and all our staff members are FSC trained. Using the correct methodology for your print job means that you can use our FSC accreditation on your job. View our FSC chain of custody certificate. downloadable PDF

All our printing plates are produced using a new chemical-free process and our presses run on low % chemicals, which reduce emissions of volatile, organic carbons.

All waste paper, cartridges, metal plates, tins and plastics are collected, re-used where possible and always recycled. All chemical waste is removed from the site for disposal according to the requirements of current environmental legislation and COSHH (the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health).

We even turn all our equipment off daily rather than leave it on standby, and we always turn the lights off when we go home! We see it as our commitment to the world we all live in and key to our future prosperity.
